UFC 133 Fight Card
UFC 133 Fight Card matches will be on August 6, 2011 at 9pm ET/6pm PT at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center. Everybody is looking forward to the opponent chosen to fight against Rashad Evans after his original opponent Phil Davis was forced out due to a knee injury.
Speculations dictate that Jon Jones will be the one facing Evans at the UFC 133. It is confirmed that on the main event of this match, it is between Rashad Evans who is a former light heavyweight champion with a stats of 15-1-1 and Tito Ortiz with a record of 16-8-1 after his original opponent Phil Davis was sent out. The two competitors met initially in July of 2007 where they got a draw in match. Ortiz just won UFC 132 against Ryan Bader.
Here are the UFC 133 matches for the preliminary card. middleweights, Rafael Natal versus Costantinos Philippou; featherweights, Mike Brown versus Nam Phan and Ivan Menjivar versus Nick Pace; welterweights, Mike Pierce versus Johny Hendricks and Brian Ebersole versus Dennis Hallman.
For the Spike TV card featherweights, Rani Yahya versus Chad Mendes and for the Light Heavyweights, Vladimir Matyushenko versus Alexander Gustafsson. The main card welterweights are Mike Pyle versus Rory MacDonald; middleweights, Alessio Sakara versus Jorge Rivera and Vitor Belfort versus Yoshihiro Akiyama; and the Light heavyweights Antonio Rogerio Nogueira versus Rich Franklin.
