Canos performance certainly stood out more so in light of the six-year veteran choosing his father to pitch to him. When he called me at home, that he wanted me to come to the United States because hes going to be in the Home Run Derby, I said, Ill be happy to pitch to you, because thats what I do at home, said father Jose Cano, former Houston Astros pitcher.
Defending champion David Ortiz and Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder tied at the #3 spot with 9 homers each. Torontos Jose Bautista blasted 4 home runs in total. Milwaukees Rickie Weeks and LAs Matt Kemp finished with 2 and 3, respectively. Tonights All-Star game is set to start up at 8:00 PM ET.
